 Loyalty System and Mobile Sales

The RIC Group have created a powerful and flexible Loyalty System for users of any software. It has been implemented into a 30 store Retail Chain and so far has been very effective. It has full web based customer lookup and customer history. Full profiled Email and SMS marketing for targeted groups of customers.

In other news The RIC Group is continually providing MYOB Premier or MYOB EXO users an effective and efficient way to record sales while at Gift Fairs. We now have numerous clients using our MOBPOS (Mobile Sales) product on a PDA. All sales are sent back remotely to the host (server) and imported automatically into MYOB.

MOBPOS also includes the ability to view customer signatures at head office.

 MYOB Upgrades

What's New?

Before July 1st, MYOB Clients will be receiving the 2009 Australian Compliance update. There a number of taxation and superannuation changes made and take effect on July 1st 2009. Please contact MYOB for further information.

What does this mean?

With the new release there is a new MYOB ODBC Driver. This will mean that all RIC Group Software will require an update.

This update is only available from The RIC Group. The upgrade patch is $250.00 ex GST and a member of our support team will help implement this for you.

 Stocktake Time

Hi,

June 30th is just around the corner and it means it is stocktake time again.

The RIC Group offer Stocktake Solutions for all the MYOB users.

If you are you are using MYOB Retail Manager we have a product called RM Traveller. This is the most successful mobile stocktake solution on the market. It uses a Denso 8000 PDA and allows the user to scan and capture the quantity of the items and then upload it to the MYOB Retail Manager database seamlessly. Check out the website for the RM Traveller case study.

If you are using MYOB Premier we have a product called Stocktake4Premier. It also works with the Denso 8000 PDA and can work with MYOB Accounting / Plus. The user simply scans and captures the quantity of the items and uploads it to the Stocktake software on the PC. A discreapancy report is produced and allows for easy keying back into MYOB.

If you are using MYOB Exonet we have a product called RICG Mobile Suite and works with the M3 PDA. Please contact The RIC Group for further information.

 Stocktaking made easy for MYOB users

The RIC Group have now released a new version of Stocktake4 which allows the user to simply scan the items or manually enter the items on the PC. This is definitely the most cost effective method any MYOB Accounting or MYOB Premier user has to stocktake their items.

The user simply installs the Stocktake4 software on their PC, opens up the Stocktake4 software and can then start entering in the items they are stocktaking into the Stocktak4 table. When they have completed the stocktake they can use the Stocktake4 reports to view discrepancies and also make further changes to the counts. At the end of this the user can load the stocktake counts into MYOB via the Stocktake4 software. The Stocktake4 will make the necessary adjustments and also update the Quantity on Hand figures.

 Barcodes4 with Windows Vista

I am pleased to let you know that all products offered by The RIC Group work fine in the Windows Vista environment. In fact our Barcodes4 family of products have now been upgraded to work on the SQL Express platform which works both on Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Our product range is currently compatible and working well with the Australian and New Zealand versions of MYOB which include:

MYOB Premier Enterprise V5 (including terminal services environment)

A big welcome to all RIC Group users to our new Support Site !

Our new site can now give registered users access to a whole heap of valuable information to get the most out of your RIC Group software. I know there are times when you just have to speak to one of support team but there are also times when a quick look on the web site can help out just as easily.

I have wanted to get this up and going for some time now and thanks to one of our new staff members (Jon) and help from Paul it is finally a reality.

Please feel free to give us some feedback on this new avenue for support and information about features, new releases etc.
